Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 8, 2026

Applies to Brain Training, a memory-training game for Android published by Evernile Studio.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Evernile Studio ("Evernile," "we," "us," or "our"), formerly operating as Mobitech, handles information in connection with our Android game Brain Training (the "App"). The App does not require an account with us. It is free to play and is supported by ads served by Google AdMob. It also uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics to help us understand how the App is used and to fix crashes.

Where the law requires your consent, for example in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the App asks for it before analytics, crash reporting, or personalized ads are switched on. This policy explains what information is involved when you play, see ads, use Google Play Games features, or contact us, and the choices you have.

By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 What we do not collect

  • We do not require you to create an account with us or log in to our own systems.
  • We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location.
  • We do not attach your name, email address, or a user ID of our own to analytics or crash data.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

2.2 Game data stored on your device

Your game progress, including levels completed, scores, streaks, Daily Challenge results, in-game rewards, the number of times you have opened the App, whether you have rated the App, and your privacy choices, is stored locally on your device. Your progress is not sent to us. The exceptions are the leaderboard scores and achievements you choose to use through Google Play Games (see Section 5.4), the game summary included in a Feedback email that you choose to send us (see Section 2.3), and the usage and crash information described in Section 2.4.

2.3 Information you send us by email (feedback and contact)

The App includes two email options, Feedback and Contact Us. When you use either one, the App opens your device's email app and pre-fills a draft message addressed to us. Nothing is sent unless you choose to tap Send in your email app. You can review, edit, or delete any part of the draft before sending it.

Both drafts include:

  • App details: the App name and version number, in the subject line.
  • Device details: device manufacturer, model, product name, and Android version (SDK level).

In addition, depending on which option you use:

  • Feedback also includes a game summary. This is a short coded string containing the app store the App was installed from, how many times you have opened the App, an average-score indicator from your local progress, and whether you have rated the App. It does not contain your name, contact details, or any unique device or advertising identifier.
  • Contact Us also includes your device's default language and country settings (for example, en_IN).

If you send the email, we will also receive your email address, any name associated with your email account, and anything you write in the message or attach to it.

We use this information only to reply to you, investigate issues you report, and improve the App. We do not use it for marketing, and we do not sell or share it with third parties. Your email itself is delivered and stored by your email provider and by our email provider (Google Gmail), under their own privacy policies.

2.4 Information collected automatically

The App includes the following Google software development kits (SDKs). Each one collects information automatically, but only after your consent where the law requires it (see Section 3).

  • Usage analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase): an app-instance identifier generated for this installation; the screens you view, the buttons and menu options you tap, and game events such as starting or finishing a level; when and how long you use the App; the App version; device model, operating system version, screen size, and language; how the App was installed; and your country or approximate region, which Google derives from your IP address. The App turns off Advertising ID collection for analytics, and analytics data is not used for advertising.
  • Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics): when the App crashes or hits an error, a report containing technical details of the error (stack trace), the App version, device model, operating system version, device state at the time (such as orientation, free memory, and free storage), a random installation identifier, and the time of the crash.
  • Advertising (Google AdMob): your device's Advertising ID, IP address, device and network information (such as model, operating system, language, and connection type), your approximate location derived from your IP address, and your interactions with ads (such as which ads were shown and whether you tapped them). Google may also use the Android Privacy Sandbox advertising features of your device where they are available. This information is used to serve, measure, and limit how often you see ads, to prevent fraud, and, only if you have allowed it, to personalize the ads you see.

We see analytics and crash data only in aggregated or technical form in the Firebase console. It does not include your name or email address, and we do not try to identify you from it.

3. Consent and Your Choices

Consent message. Where the law requires it, the App shows a consent message from Google's User Messaging Platform when you first open it. Until you make a choice, analytics and crash reporting stay switched off, any crash reports captured in the meantime are deleted without being sent, and no ads are requested. If you decline, analytics and crash reporting stay off, and any ads you see are non-personalized or limited ads that do not use your past activity.

  • Change your choice at any time: on the home screen, tap More Options → Privacy Settings to reopen the consent message. This option appears where a consent message applies to you.
  • Advertising ID: you can reset or delete your device's Advertising ID, or opt out of ads personalization, in your device settings (usually Settings → Google → Ads or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on your device).
  • Start over: the in-app Delete My Data option also clears your privacy choices and asks you again (see Section 7.1).

4. App Permissions

The App, including the Google SDKs it uses, requests the following device permissions:

Permission Why the App uses it
android.permission.INTERNET Lets the App download its configuration file and "more games" icons (Section 5.5), connect to Google Play Games Services for leaderboards and achievements (Section 5.4), load ads (Section 5.3), and send analytics and crash reports (Sections 5.1 and 5.2).
android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE Lets the App and Google SDKs check whether a network connection is available before loading ads or sending data.
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID Lets Google AdMob read your device's Advertising ID to serve and measure ads (Section 5.3). It is not used for analytics.
android.permission.ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICS Added by Google's ads SDK to use the Android Privacy Sandbox advertising features on devices that support them. You can manage these in your device's privacy settings.
BIND_GET_INSTALL_REFERRER_SERVICE Lets Google Analytics for Firebase learn how the App was installed (for example, from Google Play).
android.permission.WAKE_LOCK, android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE Used by Google SDKs to finish sending analytics or crash data reliably in the background.
android.permission.VIBRATE Provides short haptic feedback during gameplay, for example on a correct answer.

5. Third-Party Services

We do not sell or rent your personal information. The App relies on the following third-party services, which process information under their own privacy policies.

5.1 Google Analytics for Firebase

Provided by Google LLC (or Google Ireland Limited for users in the EEA and Switzerland). We use it to understand how players use the App, for example which levels are played and where players stop, so we can improve it. Google processes this data on our behalf. See Privacy and Security in Firebase.

5.2 Firebase Crashlytics

Provided by Google. We use it to receive crash and error reports so we can find and fix problems. Google processes this data on our behalf. See Privacy and Security in Firebase.

5.3 Google AdMob and User Messaging Platform

The App shows ads served by Google AdMob: a rectangle ad in the "Quit game?" dialog and full-screen ads at natural breaks, such as after a game ends. Ads are not shown during play. Ad content is limited to general-audience (G-rated) material. Google's User Messaging Platform shows the consent message described in Section 3.

Google, and the advertising partners listed in the consent message, may use the information described in Section 2.4 to serve and measure ads and, where you have allowed it, to personalize them. For this processing they may act as independent controllers. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google's Privacy Policy.

5.4 Google Play Games Services

The App uses Google Play Games Services, provided by Google LLC, for leaderboards (including the Daily Challenge leaderboard) and achievements.

  • Sign-in: When you open the App, Google Play Games may sign you in automatically using your existing Play Games profile. If you are not signed in, the App asks Google Play Games to sign you in only when you tap Leaderboards or Achievements. You can keep playing without signing in; only these features need it.
  • Data involved: When you are signed in, the App submits your leaderboard scores and unlocked achievements to Google Play Games, where they are linked to your Play Games profile. Leaderboard and achievement screens are displayed by Google Play Games itself. We do not receive your email address or Google account details through this service.
  • Visibility to other players: Your leaderboard scores are visible to other players along with your Play Games gamer profile (such as your gamer name and avatar). You can control your profile visibility, and delete your Play Games profile and data, in the Google Play Games settings on your device.

Google processes this information under its own terms. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.

5.5 Configuration service (Vercel)

The App downloads a configuration file from api.evernilestudio.com, which is hosted by Vercel Inc. The request sends no parameters and no personal information. The file contains only general settings that are the same for every user, such as a list of our other apps, whether the rating prompt and ads are enabled, and whether an App update is available. Icons for the "more games" section are also loaded from this server.

Like any web server, Vercel's hosting infrastructure may process standard technical information that comes with a network request, such as your IP address and request details, in order to deliver and secure these files. We do not use this information to identify or track you. See Vercel's Privacy Policy for more information.

5.6 Links to other apps

If you tap an ad, a "more games," "rate this app," or similar link, you may be taken to Google Play, a website, or another external service. Their own privacy policies apply there.

If we add a new third-party service in a future update, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, the App's Google Play Data safety disclosures before the change takes effect.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Ads in the App are limited to general-audience content. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal information, for example in a feedback email, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

7.1 Game data on your device

You can delete your locally stored game data at any time by:

  • Using the Delete My Data option under More Options on the home screen. This clears your locally stored progress (levels, scores, streaks, and in-game rewards) and your privacy choices, switches analytics and crash reporting off, deletes any crash reports not yet sent, replaces the App's analytics identifier with a new one, and then shows the consent message again where it applies;
  • Clearing the App's storage from your device settings; or
  • Uninstalling the App.

7.2 Analytics, crash, and advertising data

  • Analytics data is deleted automatically. Individual events are kept for 14 months after they are collected. The analytics identifier for your installation, and the data linked to it, is kept until 14 months after your last use of the App, because each new use restarts that period. Aggregated reports that cannot identify you may be kept longer.
  • Crash reports are kept by Firebase Crashlytics for 90 days and then deleted automatically.
  • Advertising data is kept by Google under Google's retention policy.

Because this data is not linked to your name or email address, the options in Section 7.1 cannot remove data that has already been sent. You can ask us to request deletion of analytics data for your installation by emailing us (see the Delete My Data page). You can also reset or delete your Advertising ID in your device settings.

7.3 Google Play Games data

Leaderboard scores and achievements stored with Google Play Games are not removed by the options above. You can manage or delete them, along with your Play Games profile, in the Google Play Games settings, as described in Google's policies.

7.4 Feedback emails

We keep feedback and support emails so we can follow up on issues and understand past reports. If you want your emails with us deleted, email us from the same address and ask. We will delete those emails and any information they contain.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information about you, to object to or restrict how it is used, to withdraw your consent, and to complain to your local data protection authority. You can withdraw consent at any time through More Options → Privacy Settings. To make any other request, contact us at the address below.

8.1 Legal bases (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)

We rely on your consent for analytics, crash reporting, and personalized ads; on our legitimate interests for non-personalized ads and for preventing fraud and abuse; and on what is necessary to provide the App you asked to use, such as loading its configuration and replying to your emails.

8.2 United States privacy rights

Under some U.S. state laws, such as California's, using information for personalized ads may be considered "sharing" or "targeted advertising." You can opt out through More Options → Privacy Settings where it appears, or by turning off ads personalization or deleting your Advertising ID in your device settings. We do not sell your personal information for money.

8.3 International transfers

Google and Vercel may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, these transfers are protected by safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Security

Game progress stays on your device and is protected by your device's own security. Information sent to Google and Vercel is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Emails you send us are stored in our Google-hosted email account, which is protected by standard account security measures. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We recommend keeping your device's operating system up to date and using a screen lock.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when we add a feature that changes what data the App uses. The "Effective date" at the top of this page shows the date of the latest revision. Please review this page periodically.

11. Contact Us
